We got some news from SEGA that they’re working on a Master System remake, according to a new video from Digital Trends.
The video, which was posted on YouTube and has been viewed more than a million times, shows a small section of a master system with a black background with a big red cross on it, which is the word “master” in German.
In the background is the text “the first new Sega console ever.”
SEGA also mentions that a Master system will be released in the summer of 2021.
A Master system with this name will be the first to be released by SEGA, so if you’re in the market for a SEGA device, the timing could be right.
SEGA says the Master System will be sold in Japan, which means we might see a new Master System game in 2020.
Sega also said that a new SEGA Master System software package will be launched in 2019.
