The process of building a new car takes a lot of time, but the biggest hurdle may be getting it running.
In the meantime, this week the company behind the Tesla Roadster says it’s ready to offer the next generation of the plug-in hybrid vehicle.
Tesla Roadster is a car that looks like a regular car but can drive itself.
But it’s also the first electric car designed for the road, and the company has a number of other products it hopes to sell to the public, including its own battery pack, solar panels and a fuel cell vehicle.
“It’s the next evolution of electric vehicles,” said Tesla CEO Elon Musk.
“And we’re very excited about it.”
The company’s Roadster uses an electric motor and battery pack as the core components of its vehicle, with the goal of improving range and performance.
The new Roadster goes on sale in about a month, starting at $35,000 for a base model, $40,000 with the battery pack and $45,000 or more with a gasoline engine.
The company has no plans to expand the range of the vehicle, but said it is interested in adding more options, including autonomous driving, and is working on new battery technology.
The Roadster comes with a range of more than 100 miles.
The first Model S with the Roadster came out in 2018.
It’s a car Musk said he and his team are not yet ready to show to the world.
“We have no plans right now to put it on the road,” Musk said at the event.
“But if we do, it’s going to be really exciting.”
The Roadstarts Tesla Roadsters have a range that could rival those of the Chevy Volt, the Honda Accord, and even the BMW 3 Series.
It has been designed to go 200 miles on a single charge, or roughly 60 miles in a 50-mile-per-gallon gasoline engine, and Musk said the company expects to sell at least 100,000 of them.
Musk said Tesla expects to be able to build 200,000 cars a year, about 20% of the global car market.
He said Tesla is aiming to have 100, 000 electric vehicles on the roads by 2025.
Tesla says its Roadster will be powered by a 2.0-liter turbocharged inline-four engine that Musk said has a claimed 1,500 miles of range.
The car will be a bit smaller than the larger electric vehicles that have been on the market.
The battery will be 12 kWh, which will provide up to 1,200 miles of battery range, Musk said.
Tesla said it expects to offer an affordable gasoline version, which has a range estimated at around 100 miles, starting around 2019.
That vehicle is estimated to cost between $40 and $60,000.
